Writing

It's time to cook!


The aim of this activity is to practice listening and writing. Pupils will improve food vocabulary and revise imperative verbs. It is addressed to primary 4-5 pupils. It can be use to stress the difference between a typical Spanish breakfast and an American ones.

Watch the video and complete the pancakes recipe.
Then, in group of 3-4, they will write the Spanish omelette recipe.

And this post about American breakfast and Spanish omelette is really inspiring… I haven’t thought that food and ICT could mix and indeed they usually do: so many recipes for anything you may want to cook...

    I think this activity is magnified to work listening, speaking and also use of English in students.
    This exercise could complement carrying out some of these recipes : Students develop these recipes at home with the help of his family and then bring the results to class and tell us your experience, also improving speaking is requested .
